Pasta is a common go-to dish for people cutting back on meat-based meals, but it doesn’t have to be boring jarred sauce on noodles. Pasta dishes are perfect for busy working people, for leftovers the next day, and children usually love pasta. I’m here to tell you that we can have exciting pasta dishes from whole food, plant-based ingredients, kicked up a notch with herbs, spices, sauces, and skillful cooking techniques. Sundried Tomato Carbonara with a non-dairy creamy sauce, Pasta with a bean-based, herby pesto, Creamy Fettuccine made with Plant Milk, Rich Pasta Marinara with Cashew Cream and Tomato Sauce, and a Blue Zones Slow Cooker Vegetable Lasagna Dish. One thing I’ve learned about making plant-based dishes if that if they don’t taste terrific, no one wants to eat them. Cooking techniques, the right equipment and knowing how to use it, the selection of a variety of seasonings, and tastings are part of attending a cooking class. You can find recipes on-line, or watch a Youtube video, but you miss out of the personal instruction where the chef lets you use the actual equipment while she coaches you on how it works, and shares her knowledge of where to shop, and what to buy. In addition, there’s the fun of sharing the activity with others in a warm and inviting atmosphere where you sample lots of different freshly prepared food and enjoy it with a glass of wine (or tea). $45.00 per person

Advance Payment is required via Pay Pal, recipient juliadunaway@gmail.com or mail a check. When you register, leave your contact email address and I’ll give you the mailing address if you’re using a check.
If you are unable to attend your class you can transfer your spot to someone else, or if you notify me in writing two weeks before the class, I will refund your money or give you credit for a future class.
