One of my favorite places to visit is the Texas hill country, particularly Fredericksburg where I’ve enjoyed their locally sourced foods. Â We’ll have goat cheese from the hill country prepared with sundried tomatoes and olives, organic lettuce with herb dressing, Â mussel potato leek soup, marinated and grilled quail served with green chile polenta and chocolate panna cotta with hill country port soaked fruit.
